How To Fix Penn State

This is a multi-year plan for Penn State to come back to prominence and if done correctly, become even bett
er then before.
This year
Play it out with who you have and at the end of the season get rid of anyone associated with the incident that knew about it, probably knew about it and are staying quiet and guys that should have known about it. Gut the facility so it looks nothing like it did. This could take all of 2012, but that shower and locker room need to be destroyed.

2012 - maybe 500
Keep the current coach Tom Bradley in place and play it out. You're maybe going to be around .500 and perhaps
make a bowl. This is a throw away year. Recruiting is going to be terrible and you don't expect to make a bowl. The poor record and commitments gives the AD a chance to clean house. After the season you fire all personal that were there during the 2011 mess. This will help with the negative recruiting that's going to be rapent for the next couple years. No one here knew about what was happening.

2013 - under 400, no bowl
You go after Urban Meyer! Write him a blank check and get him to come in. He can turn this around and his integrity is above reproach. He can hand pick his staff. If he's not available or willing to come you have to get a big name coach who can recruit and has integrity. You have to go outside the Penn St family. The family is defunct. You have a brand new facility.

The legend of Joe Pa is a couple years old so it's not as prevalent. At this point Joe may have passed away, he just let everyone know he has lung cancer.

2014 - under 500, maybe a Bowl Game
Urban's first year recruiting is decent, probably doesn't break the top 25, it takes a while to set up scouts and such. There's a ton of excitement around the program though.

2015 - over 500, Bowl Game
Top 25 recruiting class. Beat Ohio State and have a great year

2016 - Over 500, Bowl Game
Top 25 recruiting class. Firing on all cylinders. The fastest team in the Big 10.

2017 - Win Big 10, Major Bowl
Top 10 recruiting class.

Joe who???
